When we woke up today
There was peace in our skies.
We weren’t startled awake
By the sound of missles in our skies.
We didn’t awake in fear
Nor did we have cause to dread
That someone would find out
We keep a bible by our bed.
No, we awoke today
With our freedom in place.
We were free to worship God
Without hiding our face.
God is still blessing America.
May His purpose stand.
May we remember always
Jehovah is the ruler, the God od our land.
