Let Me Write Your Freedom Song
Let Me write your freedom son
You cannot do this on your own.
What you release to Me
I can make into your new melody.
What is trying to keep you down
I can rearrange into your new sound.
Let Me write your freedom song
So that you can rise to where you belong.
What you choose to retain
Won’t fit into this new refrain.
What you think you control
Isn’t yours to hold.
Let Me write your freedom song
So that every stanza flows along.
Every failure you choose not to forget
Doesn’t fit in the rhythm I have set.
The things that cause fear and anxiety
Are not the notes released by Me.
Let Me write your freedom song
And fill you with a love so strong
It will stir your spirit and cause you to dance
To the sound of a new romance
With Me.
In the fear of the Lord one has strong confidence, and His children will have a refuge.
The fear of the Lord is a fountain of life, that one may turn away from the snares of death.
