Oh Adonai,
For a brief moment
I began to wonder
Why this happened to
Me.
And You so kindly
Brought to my
Memory
A verse, a scene
That gave me
A clue
That what I faced
Wasn’t something
New.
Others have traveled
This road of troubles
Many more painful than
Mine.
So, in all of this
I must decline
The temptation to wallow and
Whine.
Instead, I will rejoice
That You already
Prayed
For me to overcome
And not be
Afraid.
And I will share with others
How You brought me through
And point them to the foundation
You laid.
Thank you for the price
You paid
And the love you have
Conveyed.
Your Beloved

Luke 22:31 – 32 (NLT)
“Simon, Simon, Satan has asked to sift each of you like wheat. But I have pleaded in prayer for you, Simon, that your faith should not fail. So when you have repented and turned to me again, strengthen your brothers.”
John 17:20-21 (NLT)
“I am praying not only for these disciples but also for all who will ever believe in me through their message. I pray that they will all be one, just as you and I are one—as you are in me, Father, and I am in you. And may they be in us so that the world will believe you sent me.
